Hey There

The inspiration for this project came from a dream that I had with my Grandpa Willis Robbins. Changes are hard enough to live through but if you believe as I do, that our loved ones never truly leave us, then you also know they are affected by the lives we are living without them. Grandpa pretty much showed me that physical attachments and changes are going to happen, but it would be sad to forget the people that were instrumental in forming them in the first place. I wracked my brain to think of a way to honor him and I was visiting the grave of my cousin Brian when it dawned on me that all of the names on the headstones are just names without stories. And everyone lived a life of some sort that filled in the space between being born and dying.

To help provide a bit more to the story, we are making placards (or QR code stickers) to place on or near headstones during the Memorial through Veteran's Day season. The information contained can be directly from an obituary or a short story on the persons life. One or two pictures can also be included. Each placard will have a QR code that will point back to this website and rest of the story. On here we can add stories of their life, items written by them, more pictures - whatever the family wants. I would appreciate a donation if I create the placard and QR for you to cover the cost of shipping and materials (around $5-$45).
While the displays are meant to only be placed in cemeteries during the Memorial - Veteran's Day season, the stories on these pages will be available year round. The story doesn't stop - their stories won't stop.

Web Owner Info:

I'm not the interesting part of this website. Find someone else to read about.

If you persist - I am the fourth child and only girl born to Delbert and Joanne (McMillan) Robbins. I have worked a variety of jobs and worn even more hats in my years on this earth (born in 1964, so yes, there is math). I have been married twice and have two beautiful souls for children from my first marriage and a step-son from my second. I cannot believe how lucky I am that I was the one picked to be in their lives. I am even more lucky because I have a third soul that chose me to call mom. I love animals and have a cat and a dog pretty consistently in my home. My husband is my rock, best friend, and source of constant amusement (always marry someone that makes you laugh). I believe in angels and the after-life and have seen ghosts. I know that they watch out for us and over us and that they know what is going on - and for the most part, they are just proud of their legacy.

The text is hard to read on purpose - go read one of the real stories.
