Patricia (Patsy) McMillan was the second daughter of Wilford A. and B. Lucille (Engel) McMillan. Patsy attended school in Brookings and graduated from Brookings High School in 1959 and shortly after she married Alan W. Raabe in Pipestone, MN. After marriage, they lived for a short time in Gillette, Wyoming before moving back to the Brookings area where they raised their three sons, Bradley, Brian and Timothy. She was employed by several businesses including Spies grocery store, Safeguard, Midtex and the Staurolite Inn. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brookings and she enjoyed playing cribbage, working crossword puzzles, fishing and loved to be outside working in her garden and feeding any stray animal that needed something to eat.
(Survivors at the time of passing): Patricia is survived by her husband, her mother Lucille McMillan, her three sons, one grandson Jason Raabe, sisters Joanne (Delbert) Robbins and Mary Lou (Gary) Christensen, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Lisa Wessel and Ann Molitor.
Preceding her in death was her father, Wilford A. 'Mac' McMillan who died on January 7, 1973 at his home in Brookings.
